Jones tops depth chart

In a surprising twist, veteran running back Thomas Jones is sitting atop the Kansas City Chiefs depth chart.

Jones was signed in the offseason and was expected to operate as the backup to Jamaal Charles.

The Chiefs are concerned that Charles cannot withstand a full season’s worth of carries, but there are also worries about Jones’ age.
