Chiefs shut out by Chargers, 31-0

The Kansas City Chiefs saw their AFC West lead dwindle in a 31-0 loss to the San Diego Chargers.

It was a tough day for Kansas City, which was without starting quarterback Matt Cassel because of an appendectomy.

Backup Brodie Croyle got the start, and he couldn’t get much going against the NFL’s top defense.

He threw for just 40 yards and was even replaced at one point by third-string quarterback Tyler Palko. ( Read More…)
